The Coal Docks Restaurant Bar

This was the best restaurant we tried during our visit to New York! The staff was incredibly nice and provided the best service we experienced anywhere. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable.

Very friendly staff! Most things are cooked to order from ingredients, so they were easily able to adjust menu items for allergies and special diets.Had fish/chips and a shrimp rice bowl. Both good. Fish had light breading not batter dipped. Iced tea and lemonade served in small carafes, made refills easy.Has a full bar, though we didn't order anything.Would definitely go back.

This place is a gem! The owner is so sweet and kind. She shared her family stories and explained the history behind her restaurant. Everything we ordered was made fresh and tasted absolutely amazing. This is truly a delightful place that even serves their sandwiches on their fresh made bread. You better get your breads, cookies and pastries fast because they sell out. We will definitely visit again when we visit the area in the summer. Thank you again for the cookies for the grand babies. They ate them up and had cute chocolate smiles.
