Cafe On Sea - Cape Tribulation

This restaurant is possibly located in the best spot on the planet, but our dining experience fell short. We visited for breakfast and encountered several issues. While one could overlook the burnt tomatoes with raw centers, the mushrooms were overwhelmed by garlic, and the sausages were undercooked. However, the real disappointment was the burnt eggs; the yolks were cooked solid and the bottoms were charred black. While $22 per plate isn't excessively high for breakfast, it's in a price range where you expect a decent meal. The service was too casual, clearly provided by backpacker staff who seemed indifferent. I understand that Cape Trib is laid-back, but there's still a standard of hospitality to maintain. Despite this, the breathtaking location has me convinced that we'll return in a few months, hoping for a much better experience next time.

I didn't dine there, but the place looked fantastic and very relaxed. The location is incredible!
