Pizza Delight - CAPE RAY

Hardly any toppings and $25 for a very tiny medium pizza. Absolutely ridiculous price and never would return.

The food was pretty good and was very hot, the pizza was brought out on the tray it was cooked on and we were not warned by the waitress that it was hot. Also as soon as the waitress walked in we noticed her talking very raspy and low like she was sick, we’re from here and have had her before so we knew this isn’t how she spoke. This concerned us because of recent covid cases and she should not have been working if she was sick. Also she was the only one on the floor and we didn’t see anyone else, it was supper rush at this time too. Overall good food but dissatisfied with service.

Service was horrible she didn’t bring our drinks till we went up for them she never came and gave us refills we were waiting for a good 2 hours

This is our usual supper stop when waiting for the ferry in Port aux Basques. We are generally pretty happy with this restuarants food and service. Tonight we were very disappointed. When we arrived at least half of the tables had not been cleaned from the earlier customers and we were told to just go sit anywhere . We ordered a caesar salad, a chicken caesar salad and 12 garlic fingers. The salads were both made with old lettuce, and the chicken was very very salty. Both bowls were dirty, the edges of the bowls were very stained and spotty. The garlic fingers were ok, but under cooked. The three small plates given to us for the garlic fingers were also dirty and wet. In general the restuarant felt dirty and run down from our last visit.

This was my first time eating at this chain restaurant. It is a popular pizza chain that can be found in many towns and cities in Newfoundland. We ordered the pizza special which came with a large Caesar salad and a 3-topping pizza. The salad was nothing extraordinary, but the pizza was quite good. We chose olives, pepperoni, and mushrooms as our toppings. The crust was chewy and thick. Overall, the meal met my expectations for a chain pizza restaurant.
