Hot Dog Tommy's - Cape May

This place is amazing! I had the feeling it would consider the 30-person-deep line, but I was still blown away. I got a Brooklyn Bizzy (and added crispy onions and fries with vegan Coleslaw and Scott tea sauce, and oh my God. Dekadent! I also spoke to the owner (or rather the owner found and spoke to me! and he said that no single tree nut has exceeded the threshold of his shop – important to me, as I am devastatingly fatal allergic to tree nuts – and that he is looking to add other vegan options to the menu! I'm looking forward to seeing what these are and, if I'm back in the area, give them an attempt. He was *so* excited about more and more vegan options, it was actually very endearing. 100% recommend if you are in the area and look for a delicious vegan dog!

It was great to find a place that offers vegan hot dogs. The hot dogs were good. We have basic toppings, but their menu offers some more wild vegan hot dog options including vegan coke rackets. I would definitely stop here.

Owner is ingenious, cook veg hotdogs on a part of the grill that is separated from the meat and uses various spatulas etc. a ton new vegan options recently added and they are all amazing. Nice to go from the beach quickly and take a filling and fast vegan lunch option!

French fries are cooked in their own fryer. Owner proactively mentioned that to me. He said we’d love the fries and he was right! Very close to beach. Perfect lunch stop for a day on the beach in Cape May.

The vegan hot dog was delicious. It was well marked to keep it separated from the regular hot dogs others ordered in my group. There were vegan toppings to choose from. “Tommy” was very kind to come out when delivering my vegan dog. Very friendly staff! Very customer service motivated.
