Pasticceria Citterio - CANZO

This place makes AMAZING custom cakes! Every year for our wedding anniversary I get a small version of our original lemon Chantilly vanilla cake. This was the first year I used a new bakery as we were on vacation in Italy so we used Citterio! I sent them a photo and explained the flavors and they NAILED it! Absolutely fantastic job and we were so happy with their service. Thanks for making our day special with an awesome custom cake!

Good for quality place. Inside and outside tables. Citterio is famous for Nocciolini round little biscuits good with coffee , Tea, ice cream. max.

Whilst on out travels around the area we decided to stop and have a Gelato at this Pasticceria. In previous years the quality was quite good but this year (we were here on a Wednesday recently) the Gelato was really awful we had 4 flavours and they all tasted alike, really hard to tell one from the other. We think that they concentrate on making good ice cream at the weekends. As the weather was poor they (maybe) did not sell enough and we got the same batch of gelato on the Wednesday. Anyway it really hard to explain and we were sadly disappointed never to return. The place looks to have great cakes and pastries but we did not have any of them this time round.
