Lapizzaria - Canton

The food was great and plentiful. We had a family event in one of their rooms. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had family style setting. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance was perfect for our family wake.

We were there last Saturday. We have eaten here a number of times, but this was the worst meal ever. My husband ordered a cup of minestrone soup. What he got was a small cup of tomato sauce with a handful of shell pasta mixed in. Awful. His entree was lasagna. Again, the same awful tomato sauce poured over a very small piece of lasagna. I had a dinner salad, which was OK, and my entree was cranberry crusted salmon. This huge plate was 3/4 full of risotto and this tiny piece of salmon with a couple of dried cranberries thrown on. I could not eat anything on this plate because it so overly salted. Normally when we dine here I request veal piccata even though it is not on the menu, but not this time. I was told they were too busy to make it tonight and the other diners may not like it if they see someone with a meal not on the menu. What horse pucky. On the other hand, maybe I dodged a bullet considering how lousy our meals were. When we were finished, our waitress had disappeared and we never saw her again. Another server handled our check. You know the old saying most people never complain, they just never go back That 's us.

Was there last Saturday. Have eaten there a few times but it had been awhile. Sadly it was the worst meal I have eaten there. The place was packed so not sure if that was the problem or not. Ordered blackened shrimp over pasta with oil and garlic. They brought out blackened salmon. When someone not our waiter brought the wrong food he seemed annoyed that he had to take it back. The kitchen hurriedly put the correct dish together and sent it out. Was just awful! Little seasoning on the shrimp and hardly any olive oil on the pasta. Not sure if I will go back!

The wait was horrible. There were only two of us, yet it took 90 minutes to get our food after ordering. Pasta was way over cooked and mushy. Red skin potatoes with herbs was just chopped up russet potatoes with pepper. The mashed potatoes were significantly over buttered (which I didn't know until then that it was even possible).

Very good meal. Haven't been here in many years. Went for a family jiday meal and it was very good. The fettuccine Alfredo with parmesan crusted chicken was big enough for 3 meals. I ordered a baked potato instead of a salad and received 2 potatoes. My sons got the gnocchi with spinach and artichoke sauce and the egg plant parmesan. My wife her usual angel hair pasta with meat sauce. Very attentive staff and all of the food was prepared amazingly. Will be back again soon.
