New Chow's Garden - Canterbury

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Herne Bay. My takeaway tonight arrived hot and fresh. Christina, who took my order over the phone, was incredibly helpful and provided excellent customer service.

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was incredibly delicious. I want to thank the kind lady who took my order over the phone for her excellent recommendation. The service was top-notch and the food was always hot and fresh when it arrived. I couldn't have asked for more.

May as well of put £40 in the bin. Did call to complain and they offered me £10 off next time. I declined as I would never make this mistake again. How do you mess up a chow mein?

I love Chinese food and am always on the lookout for a good, reliable Chinese restaurant. I have ordered from New Chow's Garden for home delivery multiple times in recent months. The first two times were good, but the third time the food was horrible and inedible. Despite this, I decided to give them another chance, and the food was surprisingly delicious. However, the following week, the food was absolutely dreadful - dry, overcooked Korean chicken, dry overcooked sweet and sour pork Hong Kong style, and tough chicken satay with watery peanut sauce. There is no consistency with this restaurant's takeaway food, and you could end up wasting your money and still feeling hungry. I will not be ordering from them again. I give them 2 stars because they have occasionally delivered decent food, but their unreliability brings my rating down to 2 stars.

Ordered for delivery via Just Eat, at an additional cost. Won't be doing that again. Paid extra for the worst Chinese takeaway we have ever eaten. Delivered hot which was good, however it tasted like it had all been cooked and kept a week. The King po chicken tasted as if it had been refried a couple of times, the sauce was more like jam or marmalade, no flavour. The sweet and sour sauce was pink and flavourless. Chips and gravy, well how can that be ****? Well they mastered that too . Old chips and naff gravy. Never again, go elsewhere. Nothing was fresh and it all tasted stale.
