The restaurant had everything to be great. But unfortunately the food was a disappointment and the portions were incredibly small. Had to order more food cause i ate small little pieces and they charged everything apart from the degustation menu. Waiters and manager were rude, never helpful, never smiled and actually forced me to go out from the restaurant in a hurry with a very prepotent attitude… Will never come back.

Splendid and Kind. We dined here for Sunday lunch and had a wonderful time with excellent food and drinks. What a gem this place is. When you enter you feel like you’ve arrive at a personal mansion and are invited to stay. We had the prix fixe menu which started with complimentary bubbles and a fun appetizer with fruit, cheese, meats and nuts. The main course we chose was sea bass, mine with rice, his grilled. We also had an amazing bottle of local wine for a shockingly low price given the quality. The wait staff was all friendly prompt and had a good command of English. We will bring guests here when we get visitors from home in the future.

Had a majestic and wonderful time with my friends, Such a nice place to have dinner, the food was excellent and service was just as good. It was definitely a moment i will cherish for the rest of my life Loved it 11/10, i hope everyone goes there and shares the same fellings i experienced

The ambience is perfect,subdued lighting..roaring fireplace in winter and a warm greeting. We wanted to peek in all the rooms,as there is more than one!! It feels like you've gate crashed into somebody's home and then told it's ok ..you can stay!! No bright lights or tv!! Cool ,unobtrusive music and good service.The waiter explained all the dishes. Oysters from Aveiro are on the menu!! We ordered seafood,it was deliously fresh and seasoned well. The bread was warm and we got butter!! The puddings were imaginative and included light and tasty cakes,and yummy panacotta.
