Newhall Farm - Cannock Chase

I ordered chicken wings in BBQ sauce as a starter, but they were actually spicy chili wings. I had a choking fit and had to return them. The staff replaced them with a casual apology. For my main meal, I had a sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce and an extra egg. The tinned mushrooms and chips were lukewarm, the medium rare steak was tender but lacked flavor. The onion rings were cold and bland. The restaurant was not very busy when I arrived at 5:30 pm, but became busier as I ate. I only had a cola to drink. I have been to this restaurant many times before, but I will not be returning. The meal cost £26.50.

We had a fantastic night at Newhall Farm with a wonderful festive menu. The food was delicious and our waitress, Abi, provided excellent service. She was very accommodating, especially with my allergy to fresh cream. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

The restaurant offers excellent service, delicious food, and prompt attention. The staff is extremely friendly, and our server Jo was particularly delightful.
