We visited Canillas de Aceituno for the first time today and were lucky to find this place. It was perfect for a light lunch and to watch the world pass by. The food quality was very good, service excellent and very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend and we will visit again when passing by.

We were touring Axarquia and we stopped for lunch in Canillas. Picota is a fantastic place in the main square, the staff are the friendliest and so helpful. Food is of great quality with good selection, and the prices very very reasonable. We can recommend the Morcilla black pudding). Sitting outdoors in the sunny terrace is a must. Highly recommended!
