Padaria Do Avo - Caniço

I visited this bakery coffee shop during my stay in canico. they had some great cakes, baked and bakery products that were always fresh every day. her coffee was always good and hot and service was good. price very reasonable, and much better value for...money than anything they get in Britain. Why can we not appreciate better and better in Great Britain? would recommend this padaria/bakery.

This small bakery is located right next to the quinta splendide. the cakes baked and brot are exceptionally good and the prices are extremely sharp a quarter of what they pay in funchal. the staff are friendly and speak well English. the bus stop. for funchal is right in front of the load.

Nice, clean, modern place good quality breads, cakes and savouries..Serves great coffee, staff speak good English. Prices are really good.

We loved this little bakery, come here for breakfast and afternoon cakes every day of our stay. This was great value and highly recommended.

Just opposite the post office in Canico this wonderful Bakery and Cafe attracts locals and tourists alike. The seelction of cakes and pastries is enormous, prices are very reasonable, and the personnel is friendly and quick. Excellent value for money. Don't miss it.
