L'atelier Cuisine - Canet-en-Roussillon

The environment was nice outside near a fountain and eating was satisfied! the waitress was so welcoming and friendly and made an incredible effort to speak English and helped us teach French! I would recommend a careless evening!

Friendly service in a basic but clean environment. Quite big portions at attractive prices (a big Chicken Salad fon only 13 euros). However the quality is not outstanding, but of course cannot complain given the low prices. The egg in the salad was burned and...salad leaves badly cut. As a desert a profiterol which was mainly composed of whip cream; vanilla ice cream of very poor quality.

Excellent little bistro in Canet. Skip the waterfront places and come here for local dishes instead.

I have to confess that we only went here because another restaurant we wanted to go to was unexpectedly closed...I think this was a blessing in disguise. We had the tapas starter to share, followed by steaks and no room for anything else. The tapas...plate was so big that I wasn't sure if I had accidentally ordered a double portion when I explained in tourist level French that we wanted to share.Every morsel was melt in the mouth delicious and bursting with flavour. I cannot fault a single thing. The steak mains were also huge and delicious. I think I will remember the tapenade for the rest of my life. The service was warm and friendly and ambience relaxed. Highly recommend and hope to return one day...
