Osteria D'la Sternia - CANELLI

The menu is simple, but everything is prepared precisely and is very tasty. Unfortunately, vegetables and salads are missing. The staff is not responsive enough, they are not ready to meet the wishes of customers.

Definitely a hidden treasure, but not for long! This lovely restaurant in Canelli is foodies dream. Each colorful dish was filled with flavor and perfectly designed, like a painting. We enjoyed beet risotto with Parmesan, pumpkin risotto, and pasta with tartufo or truffles so delicious. The wine selection was superb and had a great collection of regional favorites like Barberas and Nebbiolos pairing with the food exquisitely. I’m so glad Google recommended me to the Osteria. I was able to make reservations quickly online, I think we did catch them right before their pause but they were gracious and not inconvenienced in any way, at least we didn’t know if they were. Service was superb and attentive. This restaurant is cozy and clean with proper seating for COVID restrictions too. We showed our green passes and vaccination cards and we were all set. Definitely will be returning on my next visit to Piemonte.

Very friendly and helpful, English fit for purpose, local ingredients for surprising compositions. Located in the historical centre, on the way to Castello Gancia. Has small terrace. Recommended.

Una cucina locale unica, raffinata e originale con molti elementi di mare (con un'occhio alla tradizione piemontese) a prezzi che ritengo adatti alla tecnica di preparazione dei piatti. Ho assaggiato un po' di tutto dal menu e non ho trovato motivi per non tornare, quindi: a presto!

Servizio delizioso, cucina impeccabile, posizione molto intima nel centro storico di Canelli. Un luogo dove immergersi ed esplorare la cucina piemontese.
