We went to eat in a fixed shot and landed on the island, as it is a restaurant that we had heard well, in addition to being recommended by the guide michelin is located on the outskirts of candelaria, next to the exit of the road. the property has several dining rooms, with a rustic style decoration straightened with purely Canarian elements. It has an outdoor terrace, and a winery that is now used as a dining room offers a market cuisine based on typical dishes of Canarian cuisine; it has a wide menu of dishes, in addition to the suggestions of the day that presents us in a separate tab. We were 2 people and we wanted to share two first dishes: avocado toast with roasted ham and a spinach with raisins, both very good. Then we chose two of the recommendations of the house: a single wheel with mango sauce and a fish on the dish (I think it was called cherry, similar to tuna.) although I am more of meat than fish, in this case I have more the solomillo I ate quite well, although it did not seem cheap: we paid 70 €, including a bottle of wine and desserts. to highlight the kindness of the waiter who showed us the whole establishment, and the fast and effective service.
Restaurant the arquet restaurant the arquet is a classic teasm for lovers of traditional cuisine. Although traditional, it is constantly renewed with new menus that include new techniques and pairings, that is, always of products traditionally very present in the Canarian diet, the restaurant is near the candelaria, halfway between the south and the north of the island. it's next to the highway, but it's very remote, without houses or nearby buildings. has a good parking lot where the squares of the latest creations of the kitchen are never scarce we can find “badejo with lap sauce”, “wrinkled cups with corks in cilantro sauce” or “carne with wok vegetables”. To accompany the dishes we can choose between a great selection of canary wines and foreign wines the restaurant is divided into 4 rooms, each of them decorated in a different way, although always keeping the good gout, keeping the simplicity and the light colors, clean. the first entry is for smokers. It is recommended to book the nights of weekends.
The archete is a magnificent establishment where you can find so friends or family and spend an unforgettable moment, in which you will definitely be able to eat the best of the area and accompany with an excellent drink is located in an old and elegant house with some amazing views, it is located in the city of Santa Cruz de tenerife.
Nuestra primera experiencia con la gastronomía canaria fue en el Restaurante Archete. Decidimos ir a comer allí justo después de aterrizar en la isla, ya que habíamos escuchado hablar muy bien sobre este lugar, además de estar recomendado por la Guía Michelín. Está ubicado en las afueras de Candelaria, cerca de la salida de la autopista. El restaurante cuenta con varios salones, con una decoración rústica con toques canarios. También tiene una terraza al aire libre y una bodega que ahora se utiliza como comedor. Ofrece una cocina de mercado con platos típicos canarios en su amplia carta, además de las sugerencias del día presentadas en una pizarra aparte. Fuimos dos personas y decidimos compartir dos primeros platos: tostas de aguacate con jamón asado y un revuelto de espinacas con pasas, ambos deliciosos. Después, elegimos dos recomendaciones de la casa: solomillo con salsa de mango y un pescado a la plancha (creo que era cherne, similar al atún). Aunque prefiero la carne, en este caso disfruté más del solomillo. La comida estuvo muy buena, aunque no resultó barata: pagamos 70 €, incluyendo una botella de vino y postres. Quiero destacar la amabilidad del camarero que nos mostró el restaurante y el servicio rápido y eficiente.
Restaurante El Archete El restaurante El Archete es un clásico tinerfeño para los amantes de la cocina tradicional. Aunque tradicional, se renueva continuamente con nuevos menús que incluyen nuevas técnicas y maridajes, eso sí, siempre de productos tradicionalmente muy presentes en la dieta canaria. El restaurante está cerca de Candelaria, a medio camino entre el sur y el norte de la isla. Está al lado de la autovía pero está bastante apartado, sin casas ni edificios cerca. Tiene un buen aparcamiento en donde nunca escasean las plazas. De entre las últimas creaciones de la cocina podemos encontrar “abadejo con salsa de lapas”, “papitas arrugadas con choquitos en salsa de cilantro” o “cherne con wok de verduras”. Para acompañar los platos podemos elegir entre una gran selección de vinos canarios y vinos foráneos. El restaurante está dividido en 4 salas, cada una de ellas decoradas de forma distinta, aunque siempre manteniendo el buen gusto canario, manteniendo la sencillez y los colores claros, limpios. La primera sala de la entrada es para fumadores. Se recomienda reservar las noches de los fines de semana.
