This review is for Casa Mia as the location on the map, the photos uploaded on yelp and the other reviews suggest that these are the same restaurants. We really enjoyed our dinner at Casa Mia high quality food and great service. Small portions so order generously to prevent you walk out hungry. Great Mexican place to have one of your resort dinners but not necessarily a go twice restaurant in my opinion.

This review is for Casamia in The Grand at Moon Palace resort. I believe they recently changed names so I will post a review under this profile. We've eaten at several restaurants in The Grand such as Jade, Habibi...etc and they were pretty good, some dishes better than others. However, Casamia is notches above the rest. For certain it is the best Mexican cuisine I've ever had, and one of the best restaurants I've been to ever, now that's saying something since I've eaten around the world. We tried several items for appetizer, we had the ceviche, duck, and a special made item that the chef sent and they were all amazing. The ceviche was fresh, just right amount of acidity, and little bit of spiciness, it was outstanding. The duck came in a mole sauce and it was divine! The main courses were even more impressive, I ordered suckling pig, it was crispy, tasty,tender,and just absolutely wow! My wife had the shrimp dish and the flavor was so rich and delicious. They also brought out the short ribs foe my wife to try and holy moly, everyone literally said wow after tasting it. For dessert, they basically brought out everything for us to try and they were all amazing and beautifully prepared. Make sure you try them!
