Xpress Coffee on Akuna - Canberra

Right around the corner from the Crowne Plaza with a good alternative to the Crowne 's $32 breakfast. Friendly staff who remembered me after one visit and were patient when explaining Australian coffee names, including terms like 'long black ' and 'flat white, ' which we don 't have in the US. The bacon and egg roll was really good and the toasty was also pretty good.

I never had flat white before I went to Australia (hey, Indonesians drink their coffee differently . So my first try was here and I loved it, I returned the next day. I also enjoyed Vegetarian Pastry which was good and fulfilling. But the five stars are also for the very kind owner. I left my Kindle here and when I went back the next day and asked for it, he kept it and returned it with a friendly smile. Thank you so much, mate!

Amazing bacon and egg rolls, consistently excellent coffee, plus the owners are wonderful people! I cannot rate this place highly enough!

I generally don't login to write reviews as I am obsessed about being tracked XD But these guys deserve a review they are wonderfully friendly and the quality is great. I stop by each workday for a Muffin and Hot Chocolate. The home made pies are really excellent and make a great lunch. Everything about the place has passion, I pass by 4 cafes on my way to work, and the building I work in had one, but its got nothing on Xpress Coffee.

The restaurant is always welcoming and is independently owned. They serve consistently great coffee and delicious Bacon and Egg rolls. They also have a suspended coffee program available for patrons to participate in. Be sure to give it a try!
