Bidrage med feedbackWe were a large group of about 16 celebrating my son's birthday on a Sunday night. We were all new to he restaurant and had not eaten Korean food before. We advised the staff of this and I guess there was an expectation that they would take the time to explain the dishes and advise us of the best option. However they appeared rushed and not particularly interested in us. This lack of interest in the customer experience was evident when at no time did anyone check how everything was going; we had to ask could they please clear the table; we had to ask for water for the table; when we asked for the cake which we had brought along, they delivered it still in the box with no plates, not knife to cut it with and no cutlery to eat it with and no serviettes. I was baffled as to how they thought we would eat it. I repeatedly had to get up and look for staff to provide these things. To add insult to injury when we went to order coffee and tea to have with the cake we were advised that they do not serve coffee or tea. However on a brighter note, the feedback from my guests was that the food was tasty and cooking your own meat was a novel and fun experience.
We thought we would try our hand at a Korean BBQ with the kids . We are no experts and we asked for advice and ideas, the kids were sceptical. The result was fantastic, fun and we will look for more opportunities for a BBQ as we travel. The place was full of Korean people, a sign we took as positive, it was! Fun and great tasting food
New to Korean food but we'd heard good things. We arrived for a late sitting after the movies. It was pretty smoky so we asked to be sat in the least smoky area. Didn't make much difference! We ordered side dishes instead of the BBQ - that was probably our biggest mistake. The kim chee pancake came in two instalments. the side disshes of kim chee were lonely for their pancake and waited about 10 minutes. But when it arrived it was greasy and charred so we couldn't eat more than a piece. Most of the kim chee was edible on it's own but on a cold night you don't want cold food.We looked forward tot he fried spicy chicken but is it meant to be that hard?? Almost inedible. The octopus was slathered in onion and sauce, rubbery and hard to find. Not a fan.We won't be back although our friends with the BBQ platter had happy full tummies. That is clearly the way to go.
Prompt service, but on a cold Canberra night, we were seated at the window overlooking the street and the wind blew in through the ill-fitting window (avoid the window seats!!) Otherwise, the food was quite good, with the exception of the seafood pancake, which was bland and undercooked. The dumplings, bibimbal and kimchi were very good. Very poor wine list
My husband found this place on the internet so we decided to tried. We didnt do bbq, we ordered foods ready to eat. Foods were good. Staffs were very friendly.
