Fricken - Canberra

I’ve eaten at Fricken down on the Jetty numerous times. It’s become a bit of a ritual on Friday nights. Good food and friendly staff. Beer, wine and spirit stands next door. Live music, as well. Parking: Plenty of parking close by at Questecon or the National Library. Free after 5pm and on weekends. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

The most beautiful tasting chicken and by far the best chicken wings I have ever tasted (lime and sea salt). I have always had a great experience here, a definite stop off whenever I’m in Canberra! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40

I am in love with this place. Visited from Sydney and being coeliac so long I cant remember the last time I had fried chicken. I honestly wish I could move to Canberra for this restaurant the gluten free bun/burger is good, but omggg the fried chicken chips, and it reheats great in an airfrier too definitely worth going to, especially if you can't have gluten. I have coeliacs and I come here as much as possible as I trust them with gluten free diet options. The main thing I miss is fried chicken and the gluten free option here hits the spot.
