Bidrage med feedbackGreat location, splendid view, bit the service could be better, as well as the food. Ordered a well done steak, it came ****. Girlfriend ordered an escalope, bit it also came red inside. Salad was great as well as the wine. The waitor could be a bit more attentive and helpful.
Stopped for lunch while driving along the Cap Corse. Whoever said the staff can hardly contain their disdain for their customers was right. I 've been to France countless times so this wasn 't a matter of them being stereotypically French . And fwiw I find people in France to be generally quite kind and well intentioned. We arrived and had to wait around 15 min before being sat at a table, despite there being several empty tables. Okay, fine, whatever. Everyone else had to endure this and I guess it 's because the waiter preferred seating everyone in batches? We 're sat one of very few tables away from the edge of the terrace. Everyone else is on the perimeter and you 're here for the view. We put in our order and when I ask politely if I can add a side of potatoes, the waiter seems offended and confused, but says he 'll bring them. The potatoes never came, okay fine whatever. Btw the guy seemed to be very fluent English so it didn 't seem to be a lost in translation situation. He was just incredibly rude and off putting. While our table is still clear and only our drinks have arrived, a table next to us, overlooking the scenery, is paying getting ready to leave. I very politely asked the waiter if we might switch to that table when they 're done. He seems outraged I 'd even ask and with utmost rudeness, tells me it 's impossible and he doesn 't have time to clean the table before storming off. (Never mind that later, he sits people there anyway) He was so incredibly rude about the question, I felt awkward the whole rest of the meal (he did this loudly in front of all the other diners) and i declined to order anything else avoided speaking to him after that. When it comes time to pay, I just wanted to get out of there. When he finally brings the bill, it turns out they don 't take credit cards. Oh and the nearest bancomqt is apparently an hour away, he tells us. What...Isn 't this 2022 and this is a touristy restaurant? Could they have thought to mention the lack of cards on their menu or somewhere? So I end up having to spend 15 min figuring out how to pay this guy via PayPal whilst incurring about $15 in fees. This is on top of really expensive prices. Whole meal ended up being over 100 EUR for two people no alcohol apart from a glass of rosé that was a tiny glass for 7 EUR. By the time it was all over, I couldn 't wait to get away. As for the food, it was average at best. My partner 's lamb was awful (worst dish he had in 3 days on Corsica) and his potatoes were undercooked and inedible. My fish and the shellfish appetizers were fine, but very average on an island with excellent food wherever you go. Apart from this place, I 've found service on Corsica to be extremely friendly and kind. Steer clear of this place unless you want to pay a premium for mediocre food and service that will ruin your meal.
Cozy place with great food and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and not rushed. Outdoor seating and small bar.
The kindness of the owners is inversely proportional to the view. we stopped in motion for an aperitif and the request of some snacks to accompany the wine we were answered that they were not available and that, indeed, we had to leave the table as soon as before because they had to prepare for dinner. to never see us again!
A wonderful view to enjoy sunset, excellent food, good products, well cooked, I recommend. Only default during our visit, the very, very long service, but fortunately we were not in a hurry.
