Mykonos Taverna

I have been going to Mykonos Taverna ever since it was a take away back in the day. The food has always been simply amazing and very tasty. Since it reopened 20 years ago it has gone from strength to strength. The signature dish (lamb shank) is simply irresistible and the calamari is the best in town. Food portions are more than reasonable and everything is fresh. Great festive atmosphere and super-efficient and friendly staff. Always a winner.

Went to this restaurant with a friend for lunch. The staff are friendly and it had a very chilled ambiance. I ordered the lamb chops, with potato mash and veggies and my friend ordered baby chicken with the same sides. The portion sizes were good (the baby chicken was not so baby lol) and the food was really delicious! I really enjoyed my meal. My friend enjoyed his as well! Overall very pleasant experience.

I wasn’t a greek food fan until I tried this place!!!<br/ Please do yourself a favour and order lamb : <br/ <br/ They have clean white decor with very attentive service from waiters. This place can be extremely busy or even fully booked. Please book the table if you going after payday or in summer high season.<br/ <br/ Other food I can recommend are vegetarian gyro and calamari! Oh they are delicious! <br/ Their ribs and chicken are okay, not wow.<br/ <br/ <br/

LOVE, love, love! The haloumi starter, the vegetarian dishes, the baklava! It is amazing! I love the food and the atmosphere of this quaint little Greek restaurant where they even break plates on special nights! I especially love the chicken pitas/shwarmas and the tzatziki!
