Simply, the best, most authentic slice of Italy Europe one will find in the Cape. Nothing comes remotely close. Giovanni Nicolas are utterly focused, passionate, professional and totally in control of an eatery coffee shop people collector ! that, frankly, has no equal, at all, in Cape Town. Or, anywhere in S A. Food coffee merchandise quality is top level and meticulously maintained. It would be unthinkable to visit Cape Town without spending an appreciable amount of time at Giovanni's. You have been warned: miss out on Giovanni's to your absolute detriment! :

Just the cherry on the cake to go there for morning coffee and a sandwich created by self ! A highlight every time we go to Cape Town !!

My recommendation to this restaurant was ... “ this will be better than your mama’s food” ... he was definitely right!! I won’t ever go to Cape Town and not eat here!!! This was so sooo good!

What a cosy inviting venue to experience a very cosmopolitan clientele whilst enjoying the best cappuccino in town continental cuisine!
