Bar do Cuscuz - Campina Grande

Good location with good view to Açude Velho (artificial lake in centre of city Campina Grande /Paraiba...140km from João Pessoa ).the food is very taste. Price it is for those kinds of food. Typical and diversity. These is also with real music. I recomend to visit to eat.

If you wanna go to a high-class chic restaurante, this is NOT the place for you. But if you want a large, party-mood, eat-n-drink spot, you may have fun there. There are lots of drink specials for mid-large parties at the tables. Many options. And the live music is not loud enough to bother conversations either. Lights could be a little cozier… If you visit this town, you should check-out this place :) Weeknights they close a bit too early. Last week I was in town and took a cab there, but they were closed :(

The hotel front desk suggested this bar. Food is good but the size of the dishes are really small, they say that feeds up to 4, but I was with my co-worker and we were still hungry. The ambient has a very loud music, specially during Sao Joao which was the time I was there. It is impossible to talk while the band is playing.

The evening was frustrated by such loud live music we had to shout in order to be able to listen to each other across the table. The place is nice, the food is delicious (though a bit pricey), and the service is fast. But don't go there if you want to have a nice quiet night out with friends.

The location is spectacular. The service is spectacular. The food is average. Worth the visit if you don't mind paying a cover charge of 10 reais a person for live music. We went at 12 hrs and a band was playing. We ate and when the four of us got the bill, we noticed we were charged 40 reais for a cover charge. No one informed us of this. To be fair it is written in fine print on the menu/cardápio. They did not charge gratuity, and the service was excellent, but we had to help fund the three piece band. Seems a little unfair that the servers don't get paid for their excellent service and the customers pay for a band instead of the owners who use this to entice people to come to their restaurant.
