We arrived at 7 PM and didn’t see our waiter until almost 7:15. At that time, he took our full order for drinks, appetizers, and main courses. We had to wait another 10 minutes for water. Our calamari appetizer arrived shortly after, and while it was initially decent, we soon discovered various odd bits mixed in – a few lemon slices that I first thought were for flavor, some tomato skins, and a couple of other unidentifiable items. Our drinks came with the appetizer; I ordered a margarita, which was pretty good, while my friend opted for an Arnold Palmer that tasted surprisingly fruity. We attributed it to a potential mix-up in the iced tea and tried to enjoy ourselves despite the hiccups. Then our main courses were served. I ordered a wagyu burger, and my first few bites were a bit off. Soon, I was overwhelmed by a very fishy taste. It was probably my mistake for ordering a burger at a seafood restaurant. My friend had the crawfish and shrimp roll. He noted that while each ingredient was good on its own, they didn’t come together well in the dish. We both ordered spicy fries, and they were extremely uneven in flavor – some were perfectly seasoned, while others had no seasoning at all, and a few were soft to the point of being undercooked. Overall, I was quite disappointed and unsure if I would return to this place. I don’t blame our waiter, but rather the poor management that led to this unsatisfactory experience.

The sushi was fresh and delicious. The fries and ramen were warm, while the other dishes were just okay. Friday evenings tend to be busy and noisy. The service was excellent, although our server seemed a bit eager to take our food away. Overall, the experience was quite different from our first visit on a Sunday night, which we enjoyed much more.

The service was slow at both the bar and dining area, despite the hard work of the few servers available. There simply weren't enough staff. We had a reservation, but our table wasn't ready for an additional 15-20 minutes. The food was decent, but not outstanding.

Food was delicious as usual yet the serving size was WAY smaller than before for the same price. Two of us ordered the regular sized bowls with double the protein and the protein (salmon, crab salad, seabass) in our bowls was such a small portion as compared to before. Additionally, the amount of rice and greens in the bowls is way less than prior. We were disappointed by the smaller portions for the same cost and is why I only scored average for value . The service WAS AMAZING however and we will come back again for the fresh food and service with a smile.

The waitress was very energetic and attentive and set the mood for a very nice dinner. The meals and drinks were good as usual.
