Crabby Bob's Seafood - Campbell River

The fresh crabs and seafood to purchase are great.We ordered two bowls of the chowder to go, and the bag was wet and leaked even though my car was right there, I handed it ti my husband to check at the bowl butst and burned hus kao and his one testicle. we think the soup was pur in the flimsy take out bowl way too hot and covered with lid right away. it us also very runny and is just piping hot liquids, not thick chowder. my husband had to soak in the oyster river for the next two days to cool off the burns

We stopped here for an afternoon snack when we stayed in Campbell River. What a treat, the crab we picked was prepared right in front of us and it tasted great. The very friendly lady even showed us how to eat crab because she had seen right away that we were struggling with it.Our stay even became more enjoyful when a little one eyed harbour seal came begging for some food at the front door of the restaurant. A day to remember.....

Seafood should be eaten fresh and I have always found fresh, local, quality seafood at Crabby Bob's.

I'm not sure what's happening at this restaurant because I have reviewed it positively in the past. On June 30th, we arrived at 11:40 am and noticed there were only two tables with a total of 4 customers.
