Anchor Inn Suites - Campbell River

Very run down and dated hotel. The whole building needs to be renovated to reflect this millennium. Wallpaper everywhere was peeling and nasty looking, there was mould in the ceiling of the shower, hot tub is closed indefinitely and the pool was cold. Also, signs posted everywhere that just scream, we don 't want you here. A hospitality course would help the management of this joint.

Clean, comfortable and awesome pool! Breakfast included which is nice when you’re visiting family and need to be out the door early.

It's a great spot for winter storm watching. Campbell River has created an amazing system of trails, from ocean front to rainforest. After a few hour's hiking, it is great to just walk downstairs to their in house restaurant. Hopefully, they can keep the current chef, as the dinners we had were delicious.

We enjoyed our stay here: the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located to the city centre and we had an amazing ocean view off our balcony!

Never stayed but came for brunch. Best pancakes and bacon in town but had issues with making over easy eggs. Other than that great view excellent staff. Expect a hotel tour trying to find the restaurant but I say it is worth the walk.
