Bidrage med feedbackDuring the last Christmas holidays we were at c’era una volta with our daughter and our two-year-old grandson. it was a pleasant stay. the small played in the garden, complete with a small playground. tonino, the owner, was a attentive host., all the way ready to go the extra mile to take us. we ate several times in the restaurant c’era una volta. each delicious meal was an unforgettable event. the food is farm to freshly table. from pumpkin ravioli to pasta fagoli, it is the best Italian food I have ever eaten. tonino was pleased to share his recipes and cooking secrets with me. every Wednesday and Friday was pizza night. tonino would fire the wood burning stove and cook its signature pizza. the locals would soon fill the restaurant that this is the best place for a pizza. I would recommend c’era una votla to anyone looking for an authentic South Italian experience.
There is simply not enough room to notice all positive things about this well maintained secret. if they're looking for the land they always wanted, they're not looking for it. embedded in the land side, this position is safe to impress – rolling hills, a near jaunt. in the city center – and above all: relax! stalls down, toninos restaurant served the best meal I had during my Italian excursion. boiling is inventive and tasteful – I wish I could have brought it to new york. the accommodations are beautiful and spacious – exactly one stellar experience I would recommend to anyone who travels to campagna, looking for something relaxation and charm.
I have spent the last three weeks at C'era Una Volta, an incredible bed and breakfast in the region of Campania. It has been by far my favorite visit to Italy. While staying here I have had the privilege of enjoying numerous meals at the...restaurant, created by the one and only Tonino! Tonino is a marvelous chef, and each meal at C'era Una Volta was another wonderful surprise. It is honestly some of the best food I have ever had in all of Italy. I would like to thank Tonino and the entire town of Varano for making these last three weeks unforgettable. I will miss you all so much and I look forward to returning to this wonderful town in the future. I sincerely encourage all to visit as soon as possible; I promise that you will not regret it!
C’era una volta is embedded in the beautiful landscape of kampania, in a fraction called varano. the ristorant is more like a small traditional Italian community in itself. tonino grows grapes in a small weinberg on the plot to wine in the. ristorante, as well as olives to make fresh homemade olive oil, and homemade crusts that are used in the many dressed he regularly created. the anesthetic and ristorant are full of antiques that has collected tonino over its life, under a beautiful landscape of flowers, plants and green. it is not her typical ristorant in which tonino creates new dishes every day. Wednesday and Friday evenings are reserved for traditionally cooked pizza in the outside oven (so delicious all other days are a surprise! it depends on the sweetness that are in the season, the best choice of meat and be good at the time, etc. be assured, it is extremely affordable and they will leave with a full and a smile on their face. I had the pleasure of staying in one of the suits above the ristorante, and loved it to a magnificent view of the weinberg and the olive grove. the suite was spacious, comfortable and bright and it will feel like a part of the family. I could even have a few cooking classes with tonino in the kitchen! (who is kept in immaculate shape, as I promise, c’era una volta is worth the running gear!
We spent three wonderful weeks at C'era Una Volta this June. It was one of the best vacations we can remember. The setting is peaceful and stunningly beautiful. The people at C'era Una Volta and the town of Varano were so welcoming. The food is...some of the best that I have had in all of Italy. Tonino is an amazing chef and we encourage you to visit as soon as possible!
