Absolutely amazing, despite not speaking any italian we were very warm welcomed and treated with much attention. The staff is super friendly and top level. And ofcourse the food was incredible. We have tried the other restaurants in town and it was not even comparable, for sure coming back to this one again.

Tired and hungry after a delightful day on the water we didn't feel like going too far for supper. Five minutes stroll from our hotel we find ourselves at La Vecchia Cascina. It's busy and without a reservation but a lovely maitre'd seats us at a table in the courtyard. Red wine and water come swiftly. The menu is extensive and obviously fish and seafood would be the right thing to eat here. The tables around us are all enjoying it in different forms but sadly it's not my thing. We decide on a couple of pizzas and order with our waiter. Our table for two is great for people watching, overlooking the street but hidden behind foliage. The restaurant has authentic Italian candlelit charm. We're surrounded by locals which is always a good sign. The elderly waiter is also charming and looks the part with his smart waistcoat and I have to say is one of the most professional I've come across. He's totally aware of his tables and attends to everyones needs with respect and wit. Our pizzas arrive in no time and are devoured with relish. They taste of the wood fire and go perfectly with the wine. We've fallen in love with off the beaten track Marina di Camerota in June having escaped here from tourists and rain in Puglia we've been shown nothing but kindness. We loved this restaurant for the food, the fantastic service and the very reasonable price when we paid our bill.

Ristorante molto alla mano e si mangia veramente bene. Puoi trovare sia piatti di terra che di pesce. Noi abbiamo provato antipasti di pesce crudo e una grigliata cotta sulla brace e devo dire che erano molto saporiti. È possibile cenare sia una sala interna che nel giardino all'esterno. Il propietario è molto gentile e disponibile Consiglio vivamente
