The food can be exceptional when it’s prepared well. My partner and I have noticed that when the mother or matriarch is present, the dishes are outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and incredibly tasty. However, when she’s not around, the quality really drops. For instance, I once found a feather in my carnitas nachos. A feather! It’s hard to believe that could happen. So, if you can, I recommend visiting when the mother is there; if she isn’t, it might be best to skip it for the day.

On Thursdays, they have a special on nachos for just $5.99. I tried them with asada and all the toppings, and they were simply the best I've ever had! I would definitely order them again. On Tuesdays, they offer street tacos as their special, but I opted for the large quesa-pizza instead. It was massive! My family absolutely loved it! Overall, I’d rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.

The burrito I had was quite good, but I was really disappointed with the guacamole considering the price. I paid $5.50 for a side of guac, and it was mostly just a mix of onions and tomatoes with barely any avocado. It’s not worth ordering—you're better off spending just $2 on an avocado from the store across the street instead of buying their overpriced guacamole. Additionally, the prices I saw on the menu didn't match what I was charged. I thought California burritos were $7.99 based on their website, but they were actually $11.25 each. While that’s not an awful price, it felt misleading.
