Bidrage med feedbackI had a vegetarian pasta dish specifically with aubergine, except there was barely a trace of aubergine about 10 TINY flecks of aubergine. The pasta sauce looked identical to that put on my friends Margherita pizza! And her opinion of her pizza was very poor, worse than my pasta.
Francesca and her husband Franco have been running and owning the restaurant for 16 years, along with their 10-year-old child. All five of them, including waiters Grecia and Monica, are fantastic. The food is really good and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
After being recommended this restaurant by an Italian friend, my family decided to go there for a celebration. Francesca was very welcoming and the food was homestyle and delicious. The risotto was probably the best I've ever had, absolutely stunning.
Hosts where accommodating amazing, went the extra mile to make it memorable , thank you FOOD was SPECTACULAR !!
We had eaten here a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed the meal using a Gourmet Society card. We made another booking for last night and were given a completely different menu. For example, the prawn starter we’d enjoyed and which had cost £8 was now more than £12 and consisted of only 3 large prawns in a wine sauce. There was nothing on the main course menu under about £14 and the menu was limited to pasta and risotto. We each had a ‘hunt the chicken’ pasta costing nearly £17. Previously there had been a much larger choice, including cheaper dishes. With a bottle of poor quality wine and an exorbitant tip of over £9 the bill came to £55. If a restaurant offers to take a gourmet or taste card it should not inflate the prices and reduce the portions. The waiter was very pleasant ,which made it worse. We paid up and left, disappointed and vowing never to return.
