Hercules Pillars - Camden

Falsely advertises happy hour ‘everyday’, however when I went in last Saturday I was told that it was not in fact every day, only Monday to Friday. The only reason I booked this pub was because I thought they had happy hour ‘everyday’. When we arrived our table wasn’t ready and we got crammed into a table in the corner as they were obviously un prepared. Wouldn’t waste your time here, there are plenty of nicer bars and pubs in the area with similarly priced drinks.

We had a spontaneous team do at the place yesterday afternoon and a group of 10-15 people just turned up with no reservation. Barbara and Patrice were very accommodating and served us with smile. Food was fantastic and Barbara even refilled the breads. I would surely recommend this place. Nice ambience.

Great value and tasty Xmas dinner. Pros: value for money, tasty food and friendly helpful staff. Cons: ambiance little austere. Plants lighting more soft furnishings would add a bit more warmth and charm to the vibes. Very good for groups to have a nice meal.

Barbara and Patrice are simply wonderful. We had a brilliant night at the Hercules. Huge bar, but has an intimate, classic British pub feel. They also have loads of TV’s so great for sport. Highly recommend as a place to take tourists too.
