Kenilworth Hotel - Cambroon

We enjoyed lunch here recently during our stop in Kenilworth and found the service friendly, the food very tasty in good sized portions and the location relaxing.

Four of us went to the Kenilworth pub for lunch.Kenilworth is in the beautiful upper Mary Valley a short and very picturesque drive west of Noosa in the Sunshine Coast HinterlandThe Kenilworth Hotel is a great place for lunch, dinner or a coffeeThe meals are tasty and large and good value ... I had the Flathead with chips and salad, the better half had a giant plate of beef nachos and our friends had the lasagna and salmon (2 separate meals that is ... who would have lasagna and salmon together? ... maybe an Italian fisherman).The pub is quite old and the interior decor is austere in line with the period the pub was built in.Kenilworth is famous for it's cheese and yogurt and after our meal, we went for a walk down the main street to the Kenilworth Cheese Factory where we tasted and bought some of their yummy products.If you are out for a drive in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, up around Maleny, it's a beautiful 40 klm drive to Kenilworth.There is ample parking and if you drink more than you should, there is accommodation at the pub so you can slip upstairs and sleep off your lunch or dinner.

Good food and great place to enjoy a cold beverage. There was a large group of us and The hospitality was good.

We popped in for a drink and ended up getting food! The beers and cider we had were very nice and cold! We also had nacho to start, burger and scampi! It was all very nice, good portion sizes and quick service but it seemed a little too expensive for the quality (seemed a bit packaged foody). It did taste nice and I would be back but it just seemed a bit expensive for what it was and compared to other places (however it did seem to be the only place open for dinner in Kenilworth)

This hotel is an excellent establishment to take the family good food great staff. The atmosphere is lovely this is a great stop over for any traveler passing through the area
