2nd Street Cafe - Cambridge

I have tried several sandwiches at this restaurant, and each one has been exceptionally delicious with generous portions of protein. The sandwiches are very satisfying, flavorful, and incredibly affordable. These are honestly some of the best sandwiches I have eaten in a while! I am a repeat customer and have enjoyed the chicken pesto, Italian, chicken melt, tuna melt, and the cubano - all of which have exceeded my expectations.

I requested to be notified when the order was ready, but never received a call. I waited 15 minutes for a breakfast sandwich before having to inquire about it. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. There were flies all around, which was very unsanitary and disgusting.

Nice location, however, the bread they serve is made of foam rubber, which is disappointing. I recommend paying a little extra for fresh bread like Iggy's, as it would greatly improve the overall dining experience.

Would be five stars all day if they had american cheese, I don't eat swiss cheddar or provolone, You don't have American cheese, I can't eat any of your food cheese would be on, I need american cheese on everything that includes Tuna melts, breakfast sandwiches and all eggs ....

So, I was told they have the best sandwiches here. And they do not disappoint. Been here twice already. Had the breakfast sando and the vegetarian, among others and hit the spot. Crunchy sourdough… yum. Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwiches and breakfast items can be vegetarian
