The Plough Fen Ditton - Cambridge

It's been a few years since I live at Plough and the food is even better than ever! A fantastic selection and range when food. So much choice that the menus are written in smaller letters, only to press them all on two sides of the paper! A really nice meal and experience overall.

The menu at this restaurant was small, but the descriptions of the dishes were appealing. When we inquired about whether green vegetables were included with the main course, we were initially told yes, but it turned out that the menu had been altered and there were no vegetables available. The staff did offer us a free dessert as a gesture of goodwill, although we were not looking for a freebie. Despite the inconvenience, we had traveled 25 miles on a recommendation to dine at this establishment.

Last a couple of years ago. Was as good as I remember and hopefully it won't be so long before I come back. With better weather it is a great place to eat outside.

The service at this restaurant was very slow. It took a long time for our drinks to be served, and the payment process for the bill was painfully slow. Overall, the staff seemed to ignore us. Additionally, the food was not as good as it was during our last visit.

It had been years since we had last visited the Plough Fen Ditton, so it was nice to enjoy the view once again. We went on a Monday night and the food was great. The lovely staff made us feel very welcome.
