Lee's Fish Chips - Camberley

Fairly average fish and chip shop I’ve had worse but I’ve definitely had better. The chips were a bit soggy and could have done with crisping up a bit, and the cod had quite a thick batter that was a bit undercooked and soggy on the inside; both were quite greasy. The fish itself was fine but completely fell apart as soon as a knife and fork touched it. The fish was already cooked when I came into the shop but I was assured it was recently cooked (they would say that wouldn’t they? Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £10.50. The portion sizes were generous. The food was placed in a plastic bag rather than a paper one which is never a good sign, and would have made it go even soggier if I didn’t remove it as soon as I got to the car. Ok if you’re very local and don’t want to drive too far but I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to get food from here when there are better options such as Silver Sea or Skippers not far away.

Very standard, chips need cooking more. Cash only and not cheap.

Reasonable fish and chips. Not the best but good (chips are very standard square, slightly greasy ones).
