Bidrage med feedbackWe had dinner during our visit to Tuscany and this was the best meal we had. Firstly the restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, with very lovely staff who were happy to answer any questions about the food (since we were unfamiliar with some of the dishes). Secondly the food itself was absolutely phenomenal, clearly time and care was taken to prepare every meal, you can taste it in every single mouthful. The waitress was also extremely kind in giving us extra foccacia since we loved it so much. Thirdly, the homemade desserts were something else!! So delicate and melt-in-mouth delicious. I hope to come back again someday on my next visit to Italy.
Great experience at Il Merlo. Location at the seaside, on the terrace with a great summer view of the sunset through the bagno beds and tents. Diner was great, starter with chicken liver and foie gras, main with fried hake and anchovies, and a Millefoglie as dessert. Excellent wine selection. Limencello : The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. View of the kitchen at the entrance. Recommended.
Thank you “il merlo” for an unforgettable dinner. What a beautiful warm, windy summer evening, what a sunset with friends. Excellent “primo” and even better “secondo” and ”dolce“ all freshly prepared, fast and friendly. Delicious wine. Service top. Table with sea view. Perfect light. Comfortable chairs.
We stayed in this small restaurant on the hills of camaiore in the picturesque village of metato. the place is very nice and clean, you enjoy a beautiful view of nature, but above all you can enjoy a healthy, genuine and homemade food! great homemade tordelli and also cut! Finally we could have had some chestnut flour pancakes that were the end of the world and a apple pie with the pastry cream I did not hesitate to finish! an eye on the red wine of the house. Really great! I highly recommend this place, managed by two competent and very kind and helpful people!
When the quantity returns to prevail over quality you get a dangerous boomerang effect: return to normal! Impossible to do the degotation menu (a year away, abolished in August). Seriously distracted service, we often forget about us (for wine, for water, for bread that is required more than once) and we start eating appetizers without having wine in the glasses. What was then a battle horse (the sweet millefoglie) lost its taste while maintaining the friability that alone does not satisfy the palate. The only aspect remained unchanged is the account, but given the limitations and regressions recorded it is no longer appropriate in the value for money. What was my favorite restaurant in Versilia comes back to be one of the many. Too bad.
