Bidrage med feedbackThe only 2 good things about this restaurant are the prospects that they can enjoy from the neighboring platform and the roasted bread with garlic butter. we had ordered chickens on a spit and cut chicken breast, both of which were served dry and heavy burned,...that is, really (cancer black, with tasteless beside dishes (fries and limp-Veggies, greasy polnta cubes and raw veggies dubbed salat). our daughter had asked for spaghetti bolognese with the sauce on the side, but it came on a dish with the spaghetti drown in in in Indian curry flavored meat sauce. if this was not enough to digest, we received a 4 year old white wine, looking for a recommendation from fresh local wine, and had to wait almost an hour for this so-called meal. if they happen to go through this charming city, they will please one and seek to eat another place.
Fantastic place with literally thousands and thousands of different baskets. There are rooms after rooms and the celler as well. The coffee shop serves traditional poncha, home made.
Comida caseira onde se pode degustar um conjunto de pratos tradicionais, desde as sopas caseiras, em particular a de tomate e cebola, caldo verde, açorda, caldo regional. O bacalhau com natas e o Arroz de pato são uma especialidade

We visited for the wicker display, so have no opinion about the food. Right on the main square is a factory and display center for fabulous examples of handmade wickerwork of all sizes including a replica of a sailing vessel. Many of the pieces are decorative, but there is also furniture and utilitarian items which can be carried away or shipped to your home. There is often a display of fashioning wicker items in the lowest of the three floors. This display is well worth a visit. I have attached a photo of four wicker chairs which struck us as being of good quality.
