Roaming Rooster - Calumet-Norvelt

Roman rooster has some of the best breakfast biscuits are always consistent as well as that Tater Tots. I can't tell you about the atmosphere can't tell you about the service because I get mine through Uber Eats however if I ever do go I hope that the standards of the service and the atmosphere lives up to the standard already set by the food Roman rooster is some good chicken.

The chicken is good, the fries are under salted. The place is dirty, and there were people smoking inside who didn't appear to be patrons of the restaurant.

The honey butter chicken sandwich with medium level heat is amazingggg, especially when it is covered with the roaming rooster sauce the yellow not the white one). I will say the chicken sandwich is messy which kind of turned me off at first but you just make sure you have napkins and a bathroom ready to wash your hands after. Service is pretty quick, you order and sit and wait for it to be ready. You have the option for take out or to eat in but they give you a take out bag regardless of your choice. I would recommend not sitting next to the window lol, I've had an unhoused individual bang on the window while I was eating to ask for money. Other than that, great place to get lunch or a late night meal. Also, the half and half iced tea and lemonade is the best I've ever had!!

Chicken sandwich so so good. Fries are the bomb. Use the sauce too!! Omg can't wait to go back. I love the cashier. She was so kind.

I live upstairs and had only tried this restaurant once before then I just ordered food tonight. It is amazing ? very flavorful chicken and fries, plus the fries are a HUGE portion. I ordered 3 fries for my 2 small kids and myself and the portion is so big that I could have gotten one order and us split it. Very satisfied with the portions and the quality of the food, and I love how they give a slice of bread and pickles with every chicken order, it reminds me of NC and the food I grew up eating. The cashier was very lovely, and I couldn't help myself but tell her how stunning she is, ya know woman to woman ?. I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and with the vinegar and coleslaw it's nostalgic and should be called NC BBQ style bc that's the real NC BBQ style, but maybe that's how they make it in Nashville too, I guess ?
