Bidrage med feedbackEvery city has a collection of fast casual restaurants with a selection of trendy/upscale dining choices. Farmbird is an example of one that is doing it right! Very clean, pleasant and helpful staff. I went with the spicy chicken salad on a roll, chickpeas, and Brussels sprouts sides. My daughter liked the Mac and cheese. My wife liked her chicken. Prices were reasonable, service was fast. Great place for a quick meal!
Food is OK. Service is awful. They never prepared my food. So I had to go to the counter with my receipt and ask what happened. They lied and said that they were backed up, but in fact, they had simply forgotten my order. They were really snooty and obnoxious about it, too. And they all wore their masks super effectively covering their chins and nothing else. I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Really nice and affordable foodIt tasted organicMostly all restaurants in DC are so expensive it is a must to try it this place
Farmbird is a good stop in Washington DC for a quality and economical lunch near the National Mall. I recently visited and had the Lemon Tzatziki Plate with Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Tender juicy chicken sat on a bed of savory rice, creamy tzatziki sauce, tangy kalamata olives, and crunchy cucumbers. The side of sweet potatoes was soft and lightly sweet. At $11.99 this lunch was a good value and the type of place I would visit frequently if I were a local.
The food was very good with an affordable price. I got the tzaziki plate with broccoli, sweet potatoes and kale and every single thing on my plate was delicious!
