Clyde's Of Georgetown - Calumet-Norvelt

I had the scallops. They were cooked to PERFECTION!!! They were accompanied by an assortment of veggies that were out of this world!

I used to eat a Clyde’s all the time. I haven 't been there in a number of years. The service was terrible. We were not greeted by our waitress for 15 minutes; we ordered drinks and dinner at the same time. The appetizer that appeared was incorrect (especially difficult for one party when oysters showed up and she 's a vegan) bread never arrived, even though we had asked for it, the dinner arrived and it wasn 't 'hot ' but warm and desert arrived frozen. Very, very, very, very disappointing. It 's really gone down hill.

DERBY PRELIM Spent a great time prior to the Derby with Ben the bartender and his female colleague, who was making him a great Derby hat. We located the Pimlico Drink recipe for the Preakness once home. Had the wrapped shrimps with hot sauce at the bar, it was wonderful and enjoyed a glass or two of chardonnay and a fine beer or two on tap. Great spot, the people made it great.
