Baked Wired - Calumet-Norvelt

Very popular bakery and coffee shop there’s typically a line outside but it tends to move quickly. Ok coffee and delicious baked goods, especially if you like cupcakes. Too sweet for my taste but I’m not huge on cake and still enjoy it.

While visiting DC this weekend we had to try baked wired. Purchased a few cupcakes to go loved it. We had carrot, red velvet, pumpkin, double chocolate, coconut. Highly recommend this place looking forward to stopping in again next time we’re in the area.

Lovely space with a great range of options’ the worker was super nice and gave us thoughtful recommendations even with a line out the door. I got the chai which was really great, I would love to come back and try it with their house made horchata milk. The banana bread was great as well. The space is fun and energetic not a sit and study kind of cafe, but a great place to grab coffee with friends. we didn’t even try their famous cupcakes, but we are excited to come back another day for those .

Best cupcakes I’ve ever had. They were so moist and I love the flavor range. Can’t wait to go back. I went on a rainy Sunday and the line was out the door.

Easy 5 star review. This is a gem of a coffee pastry stand. The cinnamon rolls taste like grandma’s recipe, baked to perfection. The rhubarb scone goes great with their americanos and cappuccinos.
