The Grill - Caloundra

Had breakfast included in our hotel stay. The meals were very average, there was nothing special about any of them. The eggs Benedict was drowning in hollandaise sauce which was both too rich and not very tasty. Thankfully the eggs were cooked well. My partner had avo on toast with some feta and it was literally that with nothing else. I think you would be able to get a much nicer breakfast for the same price elsewhere. I would not recommend coming here for breakfast.

As I was staying at the resort I ate here a few times. My favourite was the melt in your mouth steak. The sauce was a little lemony. Lovely presentation. Attentive and friendly service. Great views.

Love the food here steak was excellent but.... menu says “wagyu fat roasted potatoes”they were boiled, says “ fennel slaw” it was a creamy basic coleslaw. The steak was a little more well done than asked, but of excellent quality. Pork belly for entree was excellent but with same mains coleslaw when menu says “apple slaw” . The staff are wonderful the rooms clean and a great size. Pool looks gloriously wonderful and our 18 holes of golf amazing. We will be back but hope they will tidy up the menu.

A bad experience !!. I ordered a medium rare $38 steak with 'hand carved potato chips ' I received a soggy medium steak on top of the chips which made them soggy as well. I sent this poor excuse for a steak back and re-ordered the same again. The second steak was just as bad. This was fine dining at it 's worst. This dinner was a special occasion which was very disappointing. Don 't go !!!

Eating was sensational. Had lunch special $29 for main, dessert and drink. Salmon Laksa I could eat every day. Lemon is beautiful. Service was much better this visit, although it was pretty busy.
