Currimundi Lake Restaurant - Caloundra

I recently visited this restaurant and found the location to be great with a nice atmosphere. However, the staff seemed poorly trained and appeared stressed when the restaurant got busy. It felt like they were not happy to even serve a cup of coffee, and I felt that they should appreciate the customers who choose to dine there. The food was mediocre and it seemed like the staff did not put much effort into their work. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

We enjoyed delicious pancakes topped with maple syrup and plenty of whipped cream. It was absolutely amazing. The coffee was also fantastic. The portion sizes were generous and the service was excellent.

I had a coffee and my son had a few small pancakes before a sports game. The elderly couple who took our order were friendly, but unfortunately, they left us in the care of one of the least enthusiastic waitresses I have ever seen. I think a smile could have cracked her thick orange makeup. The coffee was bitter with a burnt aftertaste, and the so-called chocolate topping that came with the pancakes was a cheap, generic brand. I recommend that the owners train their waitstaff on how to smile and interact with customers before they start losing business. I don't visit Currimundi often and probably won't be drinking coffee in this place again, but at least I was able to steer the rest of my team away from this establishment.

As a local with small children currimundi lake is one of our favorite places. eating at the lakeside wins no prizes, it is simple, but always beautiful and good. the coffee is beautiful and the personal is always friendly and welcoming. a beautiful relaxing place for a coffee with friends or a sand that with the children.

Yea....NoI only get there on weekends, its a great location to sit and take in the environment but the staff seem poorly trained and fluff around like stressed peacocks at any sign of business. Theres almost a feeling that your lucky there even making you a coffee, so you better respect the fact they even got out of bed for you.The food is the type of **** you make yourself at home when you don't feel like putting in the effort......... And I guarantee you the staff didn't put in any effort.
