Shelburne - Calne

Really enjoyed the afternoon the only thing I will say is that we would enjoy less of the scones and more of the terrace cake. And it would have been nice to have more tee halfway through we ran.

We had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. While the dinner menu is somewhat pricey, the food was exquisite, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, our dining experience was excellent.

We treated ourselves to a Sunday dinner at the Bowood Hotel. We opted for a main course and dessert, enjoying a hearty fry-up followed by Eton mess. The staff were quick and friendly, and the food was delightful. After our meal, we enjoyed a coffee on the veranda and then took a lovely walk through the grounds.

We had a truly delicious meal. We ate a lot, and it was the best we've had in a long time! I highly recommend the vegetarian pithivier!
