The food did not meet my expectations at all. I think we might have mixed this restaurant up with another one. We ordered a combination of fried rice, orange chicken, and broccoli beef, and this is the first time I've had broccoli beef served to me like a soup. The meat tasted off, more like it belonged in a broccoli dish than beef, and the orange chicken had a fishy smell instead of resembling chicken at all. I’m not sure if I was just having an off day or if this was a genuine mistake, but it was quite disappointing.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, and the staff is exceptionally friendly! The Thai tea is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The orange chicken tastes fantastic, and the portion sizes are generous. I would definitely return when I visit California City again.
