Yamato Bakery - Calgary

Yamato saved my butt!. I forgot to order a cake for my mom's birthday a few months ago, but headed to Yamato anyway to see if they had anything on hand. Since it was a Saturday, I didn't expect much surprisingly, despite me emphasizing that I needed a cake that would feed 12 people *that day*, I was simply handed the menu and told to choose whatever I want. The cake was ready in less than 10 minutes! Thanks, Yamato!

Extremely satisfying quality of desserts, and lovely variety of flavours! My friends and I were planning to order 1 pc each but ended up ordering other flavors to try!

Yamato bakery has changed hands since about 10 months ago, but definitely for the better. Their Hokkaido chiffon cake is so soft and delicious. The roll cakes are very good too, I particularly like the green tea red bean and fresh mango. They don't use canned fruit everything is natural. Cake is not overly sweet, light, and delicious.

Decided to try this bakery today because I always see it when I drive by, the green tea cheesecake is soo delicious! So smooth! Good quality cheesecake here I would definitely be coming back! They also offered thin sesame crisps for sampling which was very tasty as well!
