Veggie House - Calgary

I am seriously impressed with this place. It is definitely the best Chinese food around, especially for vegetarians. Even my carnivorous friend loves it. Our favorite dishes are the ginger beef, the garlic dried ribs (seriously to die for), and the dumplings. The location may seem unexpected, but it is truly a hidden gem.

This restaurant is a fantastic little spot with a wide variety of menu options. They offer many mock meat selections, fried rice, noodle dishes, and hot pots. I tried the deep-fried bean curd skin with broccoli and steamed rice, which was a huge portion (almost too much for one person) and incredibly tasty. It's a perfect place to go with a big group, where everyone can order a different dish and really dive into the menu.

My partner and I are vegan, so finding a restaurant that caters to both our dietary needs and those of our non-vegan family can be challenging. However, we decided to give Happy Veggie House a try because we love Chinese cuisine and it seemed like a good fit. I discovered the restaurant while searching for vegan options in Calgary online. Since we have family members with mobility issues, we decided to order for Mother's Day. We opted to share a main dish along with potstickers and spring rolls. Everything was incredibly delicious! Even my father, who typically dislikes vegan food, enjoyed the meal. We had plenty to eat and even had leftovers for dinner the next day. Everyone agreed that this restaurant is a gem! We will definitely be ordering from them again in the future.

Eat and dinner in this restaurant several times... always so impressed by the consistency of good quality. the restaurant will soon use the most popular delivery service. can't wait to order from him.

The service was friendly, helpful and quick. I ordered the E. Veggie Ginger Beef and rice, and it was tasty, crispy, with a delicately balanced spicy smooth texture, controlled by the rice. I thoroughly enjoyed the dish. When I arrived and was looking at...the menu, a customer identified as a regular and advised everything is good. It is a bit hard to find, I looked on the street but it is off the street in a small mall.
