The Chick Pea - Calgary

Tried this place as per a colleague who works in a nearby offices be towerService was good and it was a busy place but I didn't really enjoy the food.

I have tried falafels all over Calgary and this place has the best, hands down.

When in the downtown core, its worth the walk to 8 ave to get the Beef Shwarma at Chick Pea. There will be line up at lunch but it goes fast. Lots of ingredients to choose from and the price is very reasonable.

Great food. Great and speedy service. Fresh ingredients, good value. The meat tasted amazing and the Donair had a good portion of beef in it.

My coworker and I were looking for a quick bite to eat near the office and this place popped up on Yelp. We both LOVE Mediterranean food, so we had to give it a try. The food was fresh and the service quick. I had the Chicken Schwarma wrap and it was delicious. Orders are taken at a counter, so everything can be customized and you can watch them shave the beef or chicken for your meal. Get there early (before noon) to avoid a long line, even though the line moves very quickly. Overall, great lunch spot if you want a quick, fresh bite.
