Tacos Mexico Macleod - Calgary

First time coming here! The food was amazing, staff was friendly. We ordered 20 minutes before close and they served us quickly and in a timely manner! Definitely would recommend the Carnitas, and the Pina Coladas! ??

I adore Tacos Mexico Memorial and this is a dissatistfying experience in comparison.I would not recommend this place unless you have lower expectations for authentic Mexican food. They give you less food, its cooked more(overcooked and dry) and the Tortilla is microwaved not cooked in a pan or on a flat top.6/10 the people are nice, service is good just wish it were more like Memorial location. Perhaps have your Chef at Memorial come train the Chef here to avoid poor execution

I’ve got take out from the other location on Memorial in the past, and the menu/food at this location is just as great! The atmosphere here is more chill and less fun than the other one I’d say but it’s fine and the seating arrangement is comfortable. The server is quick and friendly however the only reason I rate this location 4 stars is because I was confused as when I asked for Horchata, the server told me she’d have to check to see if they had some, but then asked me what alternative drink I’d like incase they don’t. She then told me they didn’t have it which is no problem, however sometime later during my meal I overheard her say the same thing to another group of people beside us, who also asked for Horchata. When paying for our meal, I saw a full jug labeled “Horchata,” on the counter. Now, I don’t know if that was actually fully prepared Horchata or if it was just an ingredient used to make it, but regardless why not just be honest and state you don’t have it ? Again everything was otherwise great!

Eat is great, but sometimes her question goes from the fly (don't swear to make it spicy, but no, they even made it spicier) and had to wait more than an hour to get the food, because they are very understated. besides eating the place is quite small so they have to wait before they clean the table or customers to leave as there are only a few employees working. parking is pampered and confusing as it is shared with the companies around them. Honestly, never go here when it's busy. they gave us nachos on the house since we waited more than an hour. eating can be expensive, depending on what they get.

Have passed by here many times and hadn't stopped in finally did it and absolutely loved it. We had to try the Tacos they come with a dizzying array of authentic protein options so we tried four. Each one was flavorful, unique, tender, and clearly prepared by a team that knew their stuff. The tacos were accompanied by a couple of home made sauces that were an amazing tasty blend of savory and heat. We will definitely be back! This place is an amazing hidden gem.
