Sun Bbq - Calgary

I'm not a frequent dinner in this restaurant as I live 3 hours away. I've come here in the last 10 years by half a dozen. Two weeks ago I had a day trip to Calgary and lunch at Sun's. It was a pleasant surprise. I ordered BBQ pork and roast pork and Singapore noodle to share with my partner. The pig plate was really great. The bbq pig was lean, but very delicate, juicy and tasteful (a little on the salty side). Even better was the roast pork: crispy skin, tasteful meat and even the distribution of lean meat and fat on each piece. I haven't had such good Chinese bbq for a long time. Compared to the Bbq meat, the Singapore noodle was a taste, but the portion is generous. The place is relatively clean and the service is only average. It is worth tasting this restaurant when you are in this area.

This has been the only must-go place for all the Calgary trips. All the food there is excellent. Strongly recommend to everyone.

If you long for ducks and wooden sieves, this is the place to come... they also offer noodles of different kinds.

Bad, bad experience. BBq was so salty it is impossible to eat.BBQ tasted more like salted meat. Very expensive for BAD bbq

Where most good restos are closed after 9PM, Sun BBQ is still open for dinner. The place was full as always since they serve a special menu after 9PM. Our photos would speak more for the good food and good price we always get to...enjoy in this place. Thanks to the servers and chefs for making our dining experience worth the price and trip!
