Shawarma Palace - Montgomery - Calgary

Great service and huge portions. We usually get the platter as the wrap isn't my favorite. The food is good. Not my fav in town but since they're right down the street, they are worth a biweekly trip. I wish they'd invest in better hot sauce but everything is fresh and flavorful. Price is right and you can't beat the service!

This place is great!  Shawarmas are really good, staff are friendly, it's always clean.  It's quickly become a go-to place for many families in the neighborhood!

Delicious food and awesome staff!!! They were very friendly and helpful. The wraps are HUGE and inexpensive. They suggested I try grilled onions in my wrap and it was awesome.

Great service with a smile.  I will go back as food was very tasty and staff suggestions were spot on.  Price was very reasonable for amount of food.  If only all service industries had a friendly person at the counter like Mustafa.

This restaurant is a welcome, if not necessary addition to Bowness/Montgomery.   We've been  Falafel-starved for far too long.     The two previous attempts didn't hit the right note, and struggled.<br/ <br/ I'm a Falafel-foodie, and have eaten Falafels, Donairs, Kebabs, and Shawarmas on 4 continents.     <br/ <br/ This place hits the right note of cultural authenticity, while still being accessible to mainstream customers.    The food offerings are certainly upscale, without the slightest hint of pretention.   To the contrary the atmosphere is open and welcoming.<br/ <br/ Their Forest Lawn location is already known to me as one of the best Falafel places in town.       <br/ <br/ Their falafels are moist, without dripping.       Very reasonably priced for the size.       Good selection of condiments, including Parsley, Pickled Turnip, and Pickles.      Menu is large sized, well presented, and has beautiful color photos.   <br/ <br/ My kids *insisted* in finishing their Chicken Shawarma's, despite my pleas to save some for later.   They could not be dissuaded.   Who am I to argue with a child devouring such healthy fare?<br/ <br/ There's a good selection of drinks, including Guava, Mango, Ayran, and Barbican.<br/ <br/ The interior is welcoming, open, and clean.    Staff are friendly and competent. <br/ <br/ I am so happy this place has opened here, and will certainly be returning.
